Labour weekend

Introduction:

Hello people Today I will be blogging about my labour weekend. So it will mostly be about what I did. and who I did it with. My writting of what did should be down below you should go down there and have look see you there. 

My weekend: 

So on monday it was Labour day so we didn't have to go to school on monday so this is what I did on my Labour weekend so we will start at friday I just got home from school and I was tired I went upstairs to my room to play the game after a while I got bored so I went to my freinds house to see if he wanted to hang for a bit he said ok and then we went to maccas and got a drink then we went to the warehouse then I had to go home and I went upstairs to my room and went to sleep.  

Saturday: 

So it was now saturday and my mom woke me up really early because my cozins were coming over to see if I wanted to go to the new linwood pools with them I said to my mum that I will just get ready and I knew I might be staying at my cozins house for the rest of the weekend so I packed abunch of my cloths and my cozins came over I hoppend in the car and on the car ride to the pools I was talking to my cozin and watching tik tok on my phone we finally made it to the pools after a while and we went inside surprisingly there weren't that many people there so we were able to get in I went to the manu pool straight away to do some manus but after a while it got boring 2 hours passed my aunty came with some food we ate it and went back in for one more hour and then got out we then went to my auntys house and me and my cozin played on the Ps4. 

Sunday: 

it was now sunday me and my cozin slept in but we had to get up because we were going to sumna beach me and my cosin got ready and got in the car we went to countdown first and got iceblocks and bbq stuff for my cosins birthday we went to thebeachmade pictures out of the sand and me and my cosin went into the beach and almost got pulled back then we went back to the house and went on our phones. 

Monday: 

we got woke up and went to walk up rapaki mountain it took forever and i got tired and tried to drink sunscreen but when we got to walk down it was really fun and we couldn't stop we then went to margret mahey park and played for forever thn at five o clock we went to lyttleton and jumped of the warf it was real fun and i have a video of it. 

All about kea

 Hello people today we had to read the last three pages of Uncle Don Knows Heaps Of Wacky Stuff. So I read them and I chose to do my DLO about kea. I tried to finish my work as fast as I could. But I couldn't so I had to finish the rest at my house but I was able to finish it anyway. So my canva DLO should be down there so go have a look.  

Reflection: 

This one was an easy one because I already knew alot about kea. And alot of information was in the book. I was just able to make eight pages and I think I done pretty good. But I will let you deside if it is good or not so you go down and check it out if you want.

 Hello people we have been doing water coulering since last term but then covid came around and we couldnt do it but now today is our last day and i am making a blog about my flower my flower picture should still be there 

Stoats

Hello people today we had to read pages 17 to 22 of Uncle Don Knows Heaps Of Wacky Stuff. We then had to choose a animal from the 6 pages that we had to read so we could make a DLO about whatever we choose. I chose stoats because they are preditors and they are small and cute and they look like weasels. I tried to put the sound that stoats sound like on my canva poster but I couldnt so there is a video down there of what Stoats sound like. Also the link to my canva DLO is down there go down and check them if you want.  

Reflection: 

It was pretty easy to read the book and then write about Stoats. I also learnt alot about birds and extinct  native animals to. Nz I thaut it would be hard since I just got out of the holidays but it wasnt that hard. I could do in like 1 hour and to me thats fast i now really like using canva to do my DLOs now last year I didnt even know what it was the only reason i started using it is because we were suppose to use something other than google docs and google slides so I just chose canva. That is pretty all for my reflection so bye.

Making hokey pokey

 Aim: 

 I want to find out how to make Hokey Pokey.

Method: 

equipment 

• Pot 
• 2 table spoon Golden syrup 
• 5 table spoon of sugar 
• 1 table spoon of baking powder (sodium Bicarbonate Hydrogeen Carbonate) 
• wooden spoon for mixing 
• Stove/bunsen burner 
• baking paper  

Instructions: 

1. Get your equipment ready 
2. Set up your stove/bunsen burner. (yellow safety flame)
3. Put your pot on the tripod and use the bluse flame. 
4. Add the sugar and golden syrup to the pot.  
5. Mix it with the wooden spoon. 
6. Stop mixing and turn off the bunsen/stove when the sugar boiles.
7. Add the baking soda and mix.                                  
8. Pour the mixure onto the baking powder 
9. let it cool
