Blind taste tasting

 Aim: 

I want to find how things taste.

Equipment 

blind fold 
Uknown foods  

Instructions 

1.get your equipment 
2.put your blind fold on 
3.Taste test food   
4. IS IT SWEET SOUR BITTER SPICY WEIRD SALTTY 
5.guess what food it is 
6 record your observation in a table 

Research 
Food 1:when i ate it it tasted like lime and then when i closed my knose i could not taste it properly but when i let go i could taste it. 

food 2: When i put it in my mouth i couldnt taste it but then i unblocked my knose i could taste it and it burnt the back of  my throat. 

food 3: When i tasted it i could feel the powder but when i let go of my knose i could taste it properly.

food 4: When i had i already knew it was salt and i knew i was gonna spit it out when i let go i tasted the sea.

food 4: When i saw it i knew it was sugar and it was meh but atleast i didnt have to pukeas sooon as i had it it desolved into my mouth. 

food 5: I knew it was sherbet from the start as soon as i had it it bubbled in my mouth and it was yuck.

shaping up

 For term 2 hurumanu3 we have been doing shapng up with Miss Bremners class. first we learnt about polygons and geometry matariki stars and then we learnt how to make them on a app called maths is fun  we answerd questions and made shapes on there here is the link if you want to check it out for your self.   https://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/polygons.html after doing that for 3 weeks we learnt about lines and angles  like for activity one it was identify?match the lines and for activity two it was identifying lines. and for number three the last one it was something called four in a row then reflection rotation and transation. after that tho we had a recap sheet to do but finally after all that work we done something where you had to look at a picture of blocks all stacked up. the coulours were pink orange and blue once you looked at them you had to make an exact replica of it with some little building blocks. it only took me like half an hour but after that we finlly done scayling. first we done scailing on nz every centimetre was 170 miles then you had to times it by like 100 or something. then after that we got to do the usa scail it was 500 miles every centimetre. after you finished that you got to do things with some other maps this was my favourite thing we did cause we had to use directions and make objects. here is some of my work that i done but other then that this is all we done for the entire term so bye.
